GTuner is a native iPhone guitar tuner that runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.
GTuner requests microphone access for one purpose: to analyze the sound of your instrument and show how close each string is to its target note. All audio is processed live, on-device, and discarded immediately. GTuner never records audio, never writes it to storage, and never transmits it off the device. The app makes no network requests for its tuning or metronome features.
None. GTuner does not collect personal data, usage analytics, device identifiers, or diagnostics. We have no servers and no way to identify you or your device.
GTuner offers a one-time, optional purchase to unlock additional tunings. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, payment card, or any billing details. Apple's handling of the transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The app stores only a local record of whether the unlock has been purchased, kept on your device by the operating system.
GTuner is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
GTuner contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The only third party involved is Apple, and only when you choose to make the optional in-app purchase.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Since GTuner collects no data, any changes are expected to be minor.
